(From Clark Funeral Home)Reva J. Flint was born on November 3, 1924, in Onawa, Iowa, one of five children to Luther and Ruth (Denney) Brooks. She entered into rest on August 27, 2024, in Granby, Missouri, at the age of 99 years and 9 months.
Reva was a graduate of Blencoe, Iowa High School and then attended and graduated from Samuels School of Beauty Culture in Sioux City, Iowa. She owned and operated beauty shops in Blencoe and Pisgah, Iowa.
In 1964, she moved to Granby, Missouri, where she owned and operated Cher-Re’s Beauty shop until her retirement in 1986, after working forty-four years in the business. Reva enjoyed traveling, crocheting, beading and square dancing. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Neosho and a member of the Ladies Aide Society.
On December 18, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa, Reva and Glenn Flint were united in marriage. Glenn preceded her in death on May 21, 1990.
She is survived by two children, Cheryl Kraft and husband, Ed and Barry Flint and wife, Mary Jane of Granby; grandchildren, Tammy Williams and husband Dan, Randall Kraft and wife, Shelly, David Kraft and wife, Judy, Sandra Moerer and husband, Dave, Tony Flint and wife, Heather and Casey Flint and wife, Amanda; fourteen great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren, with one due to arrive in December.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, sister, Unita Marie and two brothers, Irvin and Gordon Brooks.
