(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Teresa Louise Timmons, 67, of Iantha, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born in Jasper, Missouri, to the late Walter and Iris (Howard) Sweet, Terrie was known for her dedication to her family, and deep love for animals.
In 1967, Terrie and her family relocated to Iantha, Missouri, where she graduated from Liberal High School in 1975. Over the years, she lived in several towns within Jasper and Barton counties. Terrie held various jobs throughout her life, including at Maplewood Nursing Home in Jasper, Orscheln Farm and Home, Denny’s, and Oxford Home Health. She also devoted much of her time to babysitting and caring for children.
Terrie’s life was enriched by the love of her family and her beloved pets.
She is survived by her sisters, Oneta Sweet of Iantha, Missouri, Darlene Livingston of Jasper, Missouri, and Norma (Floyd) Eaves of Iantha, Missouri. She also leaves behind her nephews, Steven Sweet of Lamar, Missouri, Charlie Sweet of Granby, Missouri, and Kent Sweet of Iantha, Missouri; her nieces, Willa Doubledee of Iantha, Missouri, and Holly Chism of Joplin, Missouri; and her great-nephews, Matthew and Jacob Sweet.
Terrie was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Janice Sweet and Aaron Sweet, and her three husbands, Lawrence Borsan, David Miller, and Stan Timmons. A service has not been scheduled at this time. Information will be updated once arrangements have been made.
