(From Clark Funeral Home)Omer Doncarlos Mosby was born on November 1, 1940, in Anderson, Missouri, the only child of William and Opal Bernice (Lewis) Mosby. He entered into rest on August 19, 2024, in Granby, Missouri, at the age of 83.
Omer graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1958. After high school, he worked at Big Smith in Neosho, where he met his future wife, Linda Giles. He then worked at Teledyne as a machinist and later as a machinist at Wenger Enterprises in Galena, Kansas for thirty years, retiring in 2018. Omer enjoyed fishing, bowling, spending time with grandsons and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
One December 26, 1966, at the First Christian Church in Neosho, he married Linda Giles, and she survives. In addition to his wife of fifty-seven years, he is survived by two children, Chris Mosby and Stacie Evans and husband, James, all of Neosho: three grandsons, Austin, Brandon and Cody Evans and two granddaughters, Rebecca and Amanda Mosby. He is preceded in death by his son Brian Mosby in July 2022 and his parents.
Private family services will be held.
