(From Ozark Funeral Home)Patricia Ann Allison, passed away peacefully at her home in Anderson, Missouri, on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the age of 86. She entered this life on February 10, 1938, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the union of the late Owen and Ethel Rosecran.
Raised in Lanagan, Missouri, Patricia was a graduate of Pineville High School, class of 1956. Her roots in the area ran deep, and she remained a lifelong resident, dedicating herself to the role of a homemaker. Her home was not just a place of residence but a haven of comfort and love for all who entered.
Patricia's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She is survived by her four children, Bobby Haddock and his wife, Terri, of Anderson, Sherry Breckenridge of Anderson, Michael Allison and his wife, Marylene, of Pineville and Randy Allison of Southwest City. Her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard “Doc” Allison on April 24, 2001; a daughter, Anita Browning; and an infant granddaughter, Angela Dawn Browning.
Patricia's zest for life was evident in her many interests. An avid reader, she found solace and adventure within the pages of her favorite novels, with Danielle Steel's works holding a special place on her bookshelf.
Her hands were rarely still, as she was always busy, embracing each day with a vigor that was contagious. Patricia's energy and enthusiasm for life were her trademarks, and they left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her spirit, like the pages of her beloved books, will continue to turn, revealing the love and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Allison are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Chaplain Roger Flint officiating. Burial will follow at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Michael Allison, Randy Allison, DJ Hatfield, Dusty Haddock, Travis Browning and Levi Helm. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
