(From Clark Funeral Home)Cynthia Jean Burris, 71, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024, in Neosho. Born on April 4, 1953, in El Paso, Texas, Cynthia was the beloved daughter of William David Crocker and Virginia Ruth (Rowe) Crocker.
Cynthia moved from Southern California to Neosho in 1966 and graduated from Neosho High School in 1971. She was a dedicated member of Cross Church and had a long career in retail sales and the restaurant industry.
Cynthia had a passion for shoes, antiquing, and collecting unique items. Her joyful spirit and love for life touched everyone around her.
She is survived by her son, Scott Burris; her grandsons, Andrew Burris of Carthage, Missouri, McKenna (Jayme) Burris of Seneca, Missouri, and Devin Burris of Neosho, Missouri; and her great-grandchildren, Lillian Burris, Wyatt Burris, Averi Burris, and Ellie Burris. Sisters Suzanne Williams of Monett, Arkansas, Carolyn Winchester, brother Dave (Doddie) Crocker and several nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her son Brandon Burris and her parents.
A service on the family farm will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hope Kitchen, P.O. Box 481, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
