(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Harley “Junior” Bogart, age 94, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Missouri. He was born February 4, 1931, in Tarkio, Missouri, the son of Harley and Erma (Moore) Bogart, Sr.
Junior was a 1949 graduate of Aurora High School and was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was the owner / operator of Bogart’s Standard Service Station in Aurora, Missouri from 1954 until 1982.
Junior was an amateur ham radio operator, enjoyed mowing yards and served on the Aurora Rural Fire Department. He was a member of the Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
On June 8, 1956, he married Imogene Witt in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on July 4, 1998.
Junior is survived by his son, David Bogart, of Joplin, Missouri.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Erma, and his wife, Imogene.
A visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. A private family burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Maple Park Cemetery, in Aurora, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
