(From Ozark Funeral Home)Naomi Jo Creason Kirch, 85, passed away on May 23, 2025. She has left us a legacy. She was a quiet person with great inner strength and resolve. She did not have to raise her voice in order for her message to be understood. She welcomed everyone. She saw the best in each person. Her view was always positive; the glass is 1/2 full. Everyone enjoyed her company! She did not give up or run from hard times. "Devotion" was Naomi. Devoted to her husband and children. She loved big family gatherings and preparing delicious meals for everyone.
Naomi had the fruit of the Spirit evident in her life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.
She was very resourceful and had great common sense. She worked as a hospital ward clerk, apartment manager and salesperson at Walmart. She obtained her GED at age 40. She also served 2 terms as mayor of Southwest City, MO. As the mayor, she brought the city budget from red to black and made sure the volunteer fire department had new uniforms and the gear they needed.
She was a lady in her dress and speech. She was beautiful in spirit and being. She had many friends throughout her life.
She is survived by her 5 children: Linda Kirch Giddens (Mike), Ross Kirch (Cheryl), Scott Kirch (Stacy), John Kirch, David Kirch (Gwen). She is survived by 8 grandchildren: Andrew Elkins (Zara), Amy Walley (Roman), Michael Kirch (Jade), Calyn Kirch, Alyssa Graff (Evan), Lily Jones (Jeremy), Lena Kirch, Mason Green. Also survived by her great grandchildren: Roman, Levi, Renee, Noel, Ruby, and Caleb. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Thompson, nieces Beth Phifer and Cindy Owens, nephew Stephen Creason.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kirch and granddaughter Morgan Kirch. Naomi's brothers also preceded her in death; Kenneth, Dale, and Andy Creason.
Southwest Missouri was her home on this earth and now she is in her Forever Home with Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!
