Born in Neosho, Missouri, on January 22, 1973, Troy was the son of Dwain Albert and Carolyn Sue (Bohannan) Thomas. He was a hardworking construction worker by trade and a devoted family man at heart.
Troy married, Robin Michelle Lancaster, and together they built a life full of love and shared joy. He is survived by his wife Robin, his cherished children: Trenton (Robin) Thomas of Anderson, Missouri, and Dustin (Christen) Thomas of Joplin, Missouri, and his three grandchildren: Destri, Ian, and Caleb. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Bode of Anderson, Missouri, and one brother, Kevin Thomas of Pineville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwain Albert Thomas.
Troy was an avid outdoorsman who found great peace in fishing, hunting, and woodworking. His hands were rarely still, and his heart was always full. His quiet strength and kind spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.
