(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Lorrie Ann Holt of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Saturday, May 23, 2025 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 63.
Lorrie was born June 30, 1961 in Munich, Germany to Larry and Georgie (Watson) Owens. She had lived in the Quapaw area all her life and graduated from Quapaw High School class of 1979. She was a member of the Quapaw Tribe.
Lorrie worked at The Stables Casino in Miami, OK for 20 years as a cook. She was a member of Spring River Indian Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lorrie is survived by her husband, Robert "Bub" Holt of the home, 4 sons, Steve Owens of Quapaw, OK, Scott Owens of Miami, OK, Zach Holt of Joplin, MO and Brandon Bear of Colorado Springs, CO, 2 brothers, Mark Owens of Quapaw, OK and Jason Ellett of Wyandotte, OK, 1 sister, Mary Browning of Quapaw, OK, 3 grandchildren, Caleb Owens, Ashlynn Owens and Kaelynn Owens, her longtime friend, Evelyn Townsend of Miami, OK and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Quapaw Tribal Building, southeast of Quapaw, OK with Rev. Gary Rhoades officiating. Native American rites will be conducted by Jeremy Olsen.
Interment will be in Greenback Family Cemetery, southeast of Quapaw, OK with Lonnie McKibben, Rob Shelton, Mike Innis, Dustin Ensten, David Longan and Mike Longan serving as pallbearers. Lorrie will lie in state at the Quapaw Tribal Building beginning at 3:30 p.m. Saturday until the funeral service.
