Roy Wilson

Roy LaVerne Wilson, 94, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1931, in Neosho, Missouri, to Roy and Agnes (Reding) Wilson.

After graduating from Neosho High School in 1949, Roy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he returned to Neosho and began working at Pet Milk. He later found his calling as a contractor and carpenter, where he was respected for his skill, integrity, and dedication to his craft.








On March 24, 1950, Roy married Dora Belle Pearman in Neosho. Their loving union spanned 66 years until her passing in 2017. Together they raised two daughters, Gail Wilson and Donna Wilson, who survive him.

Roy is also survived by one nephew and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dora and his parents.








A graveside service will be held at Belfast Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri, on May 28, 2025. Roy will be laid to rest with full military honors in recognition of his faithful service to his country.

Roy will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of service, craftsmanship, and devotion.
