Clifford E. Alexander, Sr., age 72, Joplin, passed away at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his home after a short illness.
Clifford was born December 21, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri and was an area resident for several years.
He worked as a contractor in residential construction for several years. He then owned and operated a mobile home transportation business. He also owned and operated a mobile home sales lot for several years.
Clifford loved the outdoors and could be found fishing any chance he had.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin W. Alexander and his wife, Dawn, Joplin, Clifford Alexander, Jr. and his wife, Mary, Joplin; a sister, Brenda Ellis, Lowell, Kansas; grandchildren, Dacia Stark, Danielle Alexander, Darian Alexander, Tyler Ann Alexander, Ashley Alexander, Madison Alexander, Lauren Alexander, John Laude, Mary Sabas; and two great grandchildren, Caden Stark and Kizer Stark.
Clifford has been taken for cremation. The family will bury the cremains at Osborne Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
