Carolyn Grobelny, 76, passed away Wednesday July 22, 2015 at her home.
Carolyn was born January 3, 1939 in Carthage, MO to Carl Matheny and Ruth Bruner. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage. Carolyn was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Carthage, MO.
Carolyn was united in marriage to Raymond Grobelny on June 1, 1963 at St. Anne’s Church in Carthage, MO; he preceded her in death December 28, 1993. Carolyn is survived by three daughters, Carla Randall of Monett, MO, Mary Brown of Webb City, MO, and Chris Darrow of Carthage, MO, one brother, Robert Matheny of Pearl, MS, one sister, Barbara Archer of Carthage, MO, two nieces, Paula Ford and Tricia DeHombre, two nephews, Robert Matheny Jr., and Paul Archer Jr., five grandchildren, Amanda Baxton, Brandon Brown, Nathaniel Brown, Benjamin Darrow and Mathew Darrow, three great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday July 27, 2015 at Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday July 26, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
