Lonnie T. Kelly, 83, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 6:41 pm, July 20, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Lonnie Thomas Kelly was born April 15, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK the son of Alonzo and Fanny Kelly. Lonnie worked at the Kelly Air Force, base in San Antonio, TX as a sheet metal technician until retiring in 1988. Lonnie was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. Lonnie T. Kelly married Charlene Gipson August 31, 1957 in Clovis, NM and she survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Tommy E. Kelly and wife Bernardine, San Antonio, TX and Scott E. Kelly and wife Jean, Webb City, MO; one daughter, Nancy A. Kelly, Seneca, MO; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; one brother, Otis Kelly, Lubbock, TX; one sister, Noni Templeton, Big Springs, TX.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, Jack Kelly, Vivienne Bean and Sylvia Garrett.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca with Pastor Gary Burrows officiating. Burial was in the Seneca Cemetery with Tucker Kelly, Tanner Kelly, Seth Kelly, Josh Kimerling, Dakota Barrett and Joshua Johnson serving as pallbearers. Military rites were held at the cemetery.
