Reba Luthena Hudson, 80, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 12:15 am, Friday, July 25, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO after an illness. Reba Luthena Gipson was born in Barling, AR the daughter of Charles Edward and Telsie (Gage) Gipson. Luthena was a home health care worker a member of the Warren’s Branch Baptist Church. Reba Luthena Gipson married Jimmy Ray Hudson, May 24, 1953 in Whitharral, TX and he preceded her in death December 30, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Hudson and his late wife Charlotte and Dennis Hudson and wife Linda all of Seneca; siblings, Charlene Kelly, Seneca, Raymond Gipson, Mary Katherine Sherman, Boyd Gipson and Idus Gipson all of Fort Smith, AR; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Luthena was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Telsie one daughter-in-la, Charlotte Hudson, one brother, Jay Gipson and one brother-in law Lonnie Kelly.
Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Seneca with Damon Roberson officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Jimmy Hudson, Zac Hudson, Jason Hudson, Gunner Hudson, Seth Kelly, David Gipson and Rod Gipson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
