Gava Joy Cooley, age 52, Joplin, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.
Gava was born October 26, 1962 in Rankin, Texas and had lived in Joplin most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her father, Mike Wren, Joplin; two sons, John Gaston, Oklahoma, Shannon Gaston, California; three grandchildren; siblings, Lisa Wren, Joplin, Misty Sims, Joplin, Shelly Wren, New York, Linda Wren, Anderson, John Wren, Tipton Ford; three half brothers and one half sister.
Graveside services are planned for Tuesday, July 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Hornet Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
