George Thomas “G.T.” Jackson, age 85, Galena, Kansas, passed away December 6, 2018 at his residence.
He was born April 25, 1933 in Seneca, Missouri, to the late George Rex Jackson and Dorothy Irene Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicolas Hine.
Following his service in the United State Army, he worked as an accountant for the State of Kansas.
He married Veva J. Russell on August 25, 1967 in Joplin. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include one son, Vince Hine and wife, Paula, New Braunfels, Texas; one daughter, Joy Hahn and husband, Mike, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one grandson, Riley Hahn, Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Susan Simpson and husband, Sean, Edmond, Oklahoma, Molly Hine, Seguin, Texas; and four great grandchildren; and a sister, bonnie Comer, Las Vegas, Nevada.
No services are planned.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
