Betty Lou Springfield of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, January 21, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 86.
Betty was born December 12, 1932 in Miami, OK to Verble and Minnie (Offutt) Fields. She had lived in Miami all her life. She graduated from Miami High School Class 1950. Betty and her husband owned and operated Midway Golf in Commerce, OK for 30 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Miami, OK.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Ted Springfield, Jr, October 11, 2018 and by her parents.
Survivors include 2 sons, Ronald Ted Springfield and wife Juliana of Miami, OK and David Joe Springfield and wife Sherrie of Miami, OK, her sister Barbara Pattyson and husband Cletus of Joplin, MO, 3 grandchildren Dustin Springfield, Rocky Springfield and Tori Springfield and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Miami, OK with Rev. Raymond Frizzelle officiating. Interment will be in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, SE of Miami. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
