Leo Don Leaming, age 84 of Jasper, Missouri passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home.
Don was born September 25, 1934 in LaRussell, Missouri to Lester Leaming and Lena (Rayl) Leaming. He was a 1953 graduate of Jasper High School. On June 19, 1953 he married his high school sweetheart Catherine Jane Anderson.
Don was owner of Don Leaming Trucking, Inc., and was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Catherine, two sons, Robert (Kathy) Leaming, Jasper, Missouri and Dale Leaming, of the home; one brother, Charles (Olivia) Leaming, Jasper, and one sister Linda Schanfarber, Springfield, Missouri; one granddaughter, Heather (Chris) Miller, Alba, Missouri and one great-grandchild, Nate Miller, Alba.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Harold Leaming and Roger Leaming.
Memorial service will be at 7:00 pm, on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Jasper First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 pm Monday before the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jasper First Baptist Church in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
