(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Christina Lee Boman, 53, of Goodman, Missouri, departed this life on Friday morning, April 9, 2021, in the comfort of her home after months of declining health.
Christina entered this life on June 16, 1967, in Coffeyville, Kansas, daughter of Ronald Dean and Mary (Bagwell) Ernest. She was raised in Neosho, Missouri and was a 1985 graduate of Neosho High School.
On September 10, 1994, she was united in marriage to Rodney Boman and to this union one son, Tyler, was born. Christina was a devoted homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed Bluegrass and Gospel music, crocheting and craft projects. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Seneca, Missouri.
Her father, Ron Ernest and an infant brother, Phillip Ernest, preceded her in death.
Christina is survived by her husband, Rodney Boman of the home; a son, Tyler Boman of Goodman; her mother, Mary Ernest-Atkinson and husband, Jim, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; a sister, Laurie Snider of Joplin; a niece, Deanna Rogers and husband, Dustin, of Goodman; a nephew, A.J. Campbell of Joplin; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Ty Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home chapel.
