(From Parker Mortuary)Frank Joseph Bladl, Jr., age 69, Joplin, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home after a sudden illness.
Frank was born November 1, 1951 in Joplin, son of the late Frank Joseph Bladl and Lola Mae (Vaughn) Bladl. He grew up in Joplin where he graduated from Parkwood High School in 1969.
He has worked his entire adult life in sales, mainly traveling the country selling roofing supplies to individuals affected by weather. He was a gifted salesman and sold other items in the Joplin area. He had a very charismatic personality, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed playing cards with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Anderson.
Survivors include his children, Frank Brian Bladl (Michelle) of Prairie Village, Kansas, Rachelle Lynn McKnight (David) of Neosho, Missouri, and Kelly Jo Bladl (Ashley) of San Francisco, California; grandchildren, Julianna Marie Bladl and Axl James McKnight; sister, Kathy June Bladl of Joplin; mother of his children, Susan Ewing (Art) of Carthage; several nieces and nephews.
Committal of his ashes will be Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Osborne Memorial Cemetery with John E. Black, III officiating.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of remembering following the graveside service in the private room at Wilder's Steak House, 1216 S. Main St., Joplin, starting at 3:00 p.m.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
