Ebenee Munoz

Ebenee Shayain Munoz, 17, of Southwest City, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ebenee entered this life on April 21, 2004, in Joplin, Missouri, daughter of Jacqueline (Barton) Mitchell and Eric Munoz-Prez. She was a lifelong resident of Southwest City. 









Ebenee was in her Junior year at McDonald County High School, where she was involved in track, basketball, power lifting and the honors program. Ebenee had hopes of attending medical school. She enjoyed playing sports, spending time with her friends and working weekends at Sonic.

He maternal grandmother, Jackie Barton preceded her in death.

Ebenee is survived by her parents, Jacqueline Mitchell and husband, Mitch, of Southwest City and Eric Munoz-Prez of Noel; a brothers, Eric Munoz, Jr. of Southwest City; maternal grandfather, David Barton of Southwest City; paternal grandparents, Leoncia Prez and Servando Munoz; her boyfriend, Logan Harriman of Rocky Comfort; as well as a host of other family and countless friends.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Darin Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Saratogo Springs Cemetery. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Eric Munoz-Prez, Sr., Eric Munoz, Jr., Mitch Mitchell, David Barton, Jr., Jorge Gonzalez, Cordale Barton, Ethan Pendergraft and Lazaro Estrada. Payton Barton, Samuel Barton, Delton Sixkiller, Eli Gonzaelz, Parker Gonzalez, Edgar Munoz, Sergio Segura and Julio Garcia, Logan Harriman, Derrik Six Killer and Alfonso Gonzalez serving as honorary pallbearers.
