(From Clark Funeral Home)Lucas Gregory Crawford took his own life March 30, 2024 in Springfield, MO.
He was born October 31, 1998 to Greg and Lucia Crawford in Joplin. Lucas leaves behind a beloved younger brother and his closest friend, Alexander Crawford, USN, Hampton, VA.
Lucas grew up on Reinmiller Road spending countless hours swimming, fishing, playing in his treehouse, being mischievous, while also watching TV, listening to music and playing video games-anything but work!
He also spent numerous nights and weekends at his grandparents' farm in Neosho playing with his cousins Marcus Crawford, Neosho, Jaron Crawford, USAF, Africa, TJ Crawford, Conway, AR and Christopher Crawford of Joplin.
Lucas graduated from Joplin High School in 2017 and Missouri State University December 2022. He was currently employed by the Wooten Companies as a Resident Manager. Special thanks to Patrick Pearson of the Wooten Companies for his guidance and friendship to Lucas during the past few years.
Lucas is also survived by his grandmother, Ruth Crawford of Joplin, Paul and Angie Crawford of Neosho, another special aunt, Rebecca Crawford of Neosho and Kevin Birkmeyer and Kim Glessner of Big Pine Key, FL. Lucas leaves behind countless friends too numerous to mention but among a few are Anthony ‘Bert’ Bertoncino, Canon Hughes and Laken Thompson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday April 5 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 26th and Connecticut Avenue, Joplin, MO.
