(From Parker Mortuary)Wilma Jean Long, age 80, of Webb City, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Wilma, daughter of the late Paul and Bessie (Barker) Ketron, was born on May 26, 1943, in Joplin. After graduating from high school, she went on to pursue a career in nursing. She then took on a new challenge, by becoming the proud owner and operator of The Paint Shop until her retirement.
Beyond her professional life, Wilma's heart was devoted to her family. She adored all the children in her family as if they were her own, showering them with love and support.
Wilma was talented at crafting, crocheting, and knitting, often gifting her works, showing her thoughtfulness and generosity to others. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by two husbands, Jerry Foosaner, and Stanley Long; siblings, Kenny Ketron, Clarence Ketron, Thelma Gordon, Margie Sanders, and Mertel Merl.

Those left to celebrate her memory are one sister, Vera Wormington, of Roy, Utah; and numerous loved and adored nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and several loved extended family members.
