(From Clark Funeral Home)Sharon Lee Breedlove, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024. She was born on January 6, 1942, in St. Charles, Illinois, to Stanley Moulding and Lois Moulding. Sharon attended Batavia High School and Northern Illinois University before dedicating her career to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher.
On July 20, 1963, Sharon married the love of her life, Bill, who survives her. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and community. She was a devoted member of Silver Moon Full Gospel Church and an active participant in the Merry Makers and her local Garden Club. Sharon enjoyed canning, was an avid reader, and found great joy in attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Her passion for community involvement and her vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Bill, and her children: Sue (Alex) Ellis of St. Charles, Illinois; Trent (Michelle) Breedlove of Newtonia, Missouri; Kenny (Candie) Breedlove of Sycamore, Illinois; and Matt Breedlove of Elburn, Illinois. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Diane Bergquist, eight beloved grandchildren—Kel’se Breedlove, Skylar (Kasey) Breedlove, Ashley Breedlove, Cody Breedlove, Chris Breedlove, Allison Breedlove, Julie Morris, and Jackie Morris—and two precious great-grandchildren, Dallas and Malcolm Breedlove.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Moulding and Lois Moulding.
Service will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel in Granby, Missouri, with Phil Barber officiating. A visitation will follow the service until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Silver Moon Full Gospel Church or Newtonia IOOF Cemetery.
Sharon’s warmth, faith, and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
