Born on November 16, 1937, in Mason City, IA, USA, William was a loving, compassionate, creative, and generous soul who made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. William's zest for life was infectious, and he lived his every day to the fullest, always ready to lend a hand, share a joke, or offer a comforting word.
William was a devoted husband to his wife, Karadene Burns, whom he married on February 1, 1991. They shared a beautiful life together, residing in Diamond, Missouri.
William's love for his family was paramount, the focal point of his life, and his legacy. Aside from his family, the road also called to William, leading him to a fulfilling career as a trucker in the transportation industry. He retired in 2009, but his love for the open road never waned.
Web is survived by his wife Karadene Burns; children, Curtis Burns, Katie Burns, Lorie Burns, Carol {last name}, Sarah Ogle, Hal Burns (Valeri), Tina Tyndall, Ricky (Cheryl) Rodney and James (Debbie) Rodney; {number} grandchildren, {number} great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, whom he cherished dearly. Web is preceded in passing by his parents, Virgil & {mother} Burns; siblings, {brother}, {brother}, Dorothy, Loretta; daughters, Amy Burns and Deena Aragon.
William was also a man of many talents. His creative side shone through in his hobbies, carpentry, and woodworking, crafting pieces that were as generous and unique as his spirit. Web was an avid rodeo lover, he enjoyed caring for the horses the most. He was a proud member of the Webb City Veterans of Foreign Wars, where his compassionate nature found another avenue for expression.
