Roxanna McMillan

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Roxanna Sue McMillan, affectionately known as Roxanna, was a beacon of love and support, whose generosity and loyalty were as vast as the ocean she loved so much in Astoria, Oregon.

Born on December 31, 1966, in Cameron, MO, Roxanna was a woman of extraordinary strength, grace, and resilience, whose life was richly woven with the threads of unconditional love, laughter, and countless joy-filled moments.

Married to her loving husband, William McMillan, since May 27, 2023, Roxanna found immense happiness in the simple pleasures of life—dancing, riding motorcycles, and most importantly, spending priceless moments with her beloved family.

Roxanna's greatest joy was found in the company of her children and grandchildren. With them, she was not just a mom or grandmother but a trusted ally, a playful friend, and a tireless cheerleader. The adoration she had for her family was mirrored in the joy that lit up her face every time she attended her children's and grandchildren's events. She had to split her time between grandkids, but she was always at something of theirs!

Roxanna's infectious spirit and zest for life will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William McMillan; her son, William (Chris) McMillan; her mother, Leota Young; her daughter, Holly (Jonathan) Palmer; her step-daughter's , Billie Dawn and Cheyenne; her grandchildren, Josiah Palmer, Jeremiah Palmer, Gracelynn McMillan, Paisley McMillan, Aniah Palmer, Charlie Early and Londynn Clark; her niece, Lauren Young (Schuyler); her nephews, Tommy Roberts and Sebastian (Samantha) Young; her brother, Alan (Lori) Young.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Young.

Roxanna McMillan was a loving soul whose radiance will continue to shine in our hearts. We invite family and friends to celebrate her beautiful life by sharing photos and memories on her memorial page at www.simpsonfh.com. As we remember Roxanna, let us honor her legacy of love, loyalty, and generosity by cherishing our loved ones and savoring the precious moments we share with them.
