Crystal Redden

Crystal Marie Redden, age 54 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Freeman Hospital following a short illness. Crystal was born April 13, 1971 to Velman E. Reynolds, Sr. and Helen (Scharder) in Joplin and has lived in the area all of her life.

Crystal was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, nanna and friend. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Past President of the Auxiliary, and was the manager of the V.F.W. Club Room. She once loved to ride motorcycles and if you were lucky, you received one of her personally designed shirts from her cricket.








Crystal married her lifelong love, Bruce Redden while he was stationed in Germany. Due to the time difference, there actual Anniversary date is July 26-27, 1989. Bruce is survived of the home in Joplin. 

Additional survivors include her mother, Helen Washam; daughter, Tiawana Kauffman of Joplin; sons, Justin Redden of Joplin and James Redden (Heather) of Seneca; grandchildren, Trinity Crum, Jupiter Redden and Doltyn Buening; brother Eugene Reynolds, Jr of Seneca; brother in-law, John Redden of Joplin.







Crystal is preceded in death by her father, Velman Reynolds, Sr. and a grandchild, Persephone Redden.

Services will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
