(From Parker Mortuary)David Lee Story, age 57, Joplin, Missouri, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, April, 12, 2025. David was born August 7, 1967 in Topeka, Kansas to the late John Carl and Barbara J. Story.
David graduated in Topeka and later moved to the Joplin area where he worked for Allied Packaging and eventually retired due to health issues from Cloud Design where he passionately worked with his clients, designing websites and other computer-based designs. In his free time, David had a hobby of building model cars.
David is survived by his sons, Daniel and Benjamin Story, both of Joplin; grandchild, Shadow Gibson and a brother, Earl Story of Joplin.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
