(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jerry L. Schrader, 75, of Joplin, Missouri passed away at 12:33 am, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Jerry was born February 11, 1950, in West Plains, Missouri.
He had resided most of his life in Joplin.
He was a Navy Veteran.
He was a transmission specialist for Aamco and later was self-employed as a transmission specialist for many years as well.
He was of the Christian faith.
He drove the Aamco stock car #7 for several years. He truly enjoyed fishing, buying boats and his muscle cars. He was a very loving Father and Grandfather.
He married Jerri Routledge, a very loving husband, on May 4, 2001, in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives.
Other survivors include, one son; Gary (Roxanna) Schrader of Webb City, Missouri, one step-son; Aaron Newby of Big Lake, Minnesota, two daughters; Nicole Wiegand (Kennyan) Beverlin of Joplin, Missouri and Cher`ee Crane of Webb City, Missouri, two sisters; Helen Washam of Grove, Oklahoma and Carolyn Beaty of Joplin, Missouri, five grandchildren; Braden Crane, Jamie Crane, Harley Schrader, Nia Beverlin and Kyran Beverlin, five step-grandchildren; Charles Martin, Johnnie Martin, Connor Newby, Faith Newby, and Archie Newby.
He was preceded in death by one son; Johnny Schrader, his parents; Hubert and Grace Schrader, and one brother; Neil Schrader.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
