Saundra RIchards

Saundra June Richards, 73, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at her home on April 27, 2025. She was born on January 21, 1952, in Redlands, California, to James and Rosie (Cavendar) Carrico.

Saundra spent her early years in California before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she attended high school. She later pursued higher education at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) and Pittsburg State University. Throughout her career, she worked as a dedicated manager in retail sales and convenience stores, where her strong work ethic and warm personality left a lasting impact.








Saundra had many passions, including birdwatching, woodworking, arts and crafts, genealogy, and travel. She was also a devoted animal lover who found joy and companionship in caring for animals throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Carrie and husband, Sam Berg of Centerton, Arkansas, and Christopher Richards of Joplin, Missouri; her grandchildren, Zachery L. Rogers and Ashlynn M. Berg; and her great-grandchildren, Bristol S. Knight and Ensley I. Rogers. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy Carrico of Wichita, Kansas, and her sister, Sharon Carrico.








Saundra was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael C. Richards; her infant great-granddaughter, Isabella Rogers; and her beloved parents, James and Rose Carrico.

Her kindness, creativity, and love for family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
