(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Vanda Lee A. Hallock, of Diamond, Missouri, formerly of Buda, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Vanda Lee was born on April 17, 1937, in Kewanee, Illinois.
She worked for the former Hyster Co. in Quality Control before retiring in 1985.
She enjoyed reading, sitting outside on the porch watching all the animals, especially the squirrels, search word puzzles and playing the slot machines.
She married Robert Hallock on October 11, 1975, in Kewanee, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1992.
Survivors include Two sons: Milton L. Stapel (Karen) of Kewanee, Illinois, Gary Hallock (Joan) of Perry Oklahoma; four daughters: Evelyn Leedy (David) of Diamond, Missouri, Myrene Carper of Sheffield, Illinois, Drinda Milinac (Michael) of Harvard, Illinois, and DeVicka Wilhite (Bill) of South Bend, Indiana, 16 Grandchildren: Chuck Lefler, Kenny Lefler, Andy Yarger (Katie), Layne Stapel, Matthew Guthrie, Johnny Guthrie, Hannah Guthrie (preceded in death), Justin Carper (Kaurie), Missie Carper (Jonathan), William Wilhite, Kodie Wilhite, Todd Hallock (Linda), Michele Schueler, Ireland Uecker (Nick), McLaren Milinac and Tristen Milinac; three Great Grandchildren: Sarah King, Huxley and Esme Carper.

There will be a Memorial Service conducted at a later date at the Hopeland Cemetery in Buda, Illinois.
