(From Simpson Funeral Home)We celebrate the life of a compassionate and dedicated soul, Michael Delmas Wadholm, born in Torrance, CA, USA on May 30, 1969. Michael, a lifelong resident of Baxter Springs, Kansas, departed from us on August 29, 2025, leaving a void filled with loving memories.
Known for his courage and dedication, Michael was never one to back down from a challenge. His tenacity was only matched by his boundless love for his son, Riley, who was undoubtedly the most important part of his life. An embodiment of the quote, "The only thing you take with you when you're gone is what you leave behind," Michael's legacy lies in the love he shared and the lives he touched.
Michael's love for building model cars was only rivaled by the joy he found in spending quality time with his son. His dedication to Riley was an inspiration to all who knew him. His compassionate nature and courageous spirit were the pillars upon which he built his life. Michael, though never employed, found fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life, teaching us all that success is not measured by material possessions, but by the love we share and the lives we touch.
Michael is survived by his beloved son, Riley; his father, Johnnie Wadholm; his sisters, Shirley Ward, Johnnie Polinskey, and Lucy Wadholm; his brother-in-law, Rick Ward; his nieces, Brittney Epperson, Jessica Maner, Nichole Valenti, and Myranda Ward; and his nephews, Daniel Ward, David Perez, Brandon Perez, John Wadholm, Richard Polinskey, Robert Polinskey, and David Voth.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette Williams.
