Erin Williams

(From Parker Mortuary)

Erin Marie Williams, born January 4, 1979, was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend whose life was defined by kindness, intelligence, thoughtfulness, and a love for her family and all those around her. She will be remembered for her sweet and caring personality, generosity of heart, and the warmth, fun, and laughter that she brought into every room.

Early in her youth, Erin demonstrated both determination and athletic excellence. A talented runner, she qualified individually and along with her high school cross country team earned second place at the State competition—an achievement that reflected two of her natural gifts—running and a tireless work ethic. This same determination and hard work followed her into her academic and professional life.

Erin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri’s Bachelor of Health Science, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program. Following graduation, she built a distinguished career in diagnostic ultrasound, working for several hospitals and companies where she was known for her exceptional skill level and hard work. Her discipline and focus were also evident in her financial success.

She possessed a deep intellectual curiosity that led to her love of learning. She also had a brave and adventurous spirit that led to her working in many different cities in the U.S. and traveling the world.

Erin was an active and devoted parishioner at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, located in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City. It was here she enjoyed community, spiritual strength, and connection with her fellow parishioners.

Erin’s greatest joy was found in spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving family: her parents, Tony Williams and Janet Williams; her sisters, Emily Adhikari, Bridget Meyer, and Kate McClain; her brother, Joseph Williams; her brothers-in-law, Koushik Adhikari, Nick Meyer, and Colin McClain; and her nieces, Matilda McClain and Arye Meyer; and her nephews, Mac Meyer and Ferris McClain.

Erin was an extraordinary soul and her personality and talents will remain a lasting source of inspiration to all who knew her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered with love.
