(From Parker Mortuary)Sarah "Louella" Burrington, a cherished soul whose life journey began on November 13, 1927, in Exeter, Missouri, passed away on March 3, 2026 in Cassville, MO.
Her career began at Jameson Drug, where she quickly became a beloved figure among customers and colleagues alike. Later, she brought her expertise and warm demeanor to Freeman Pharmacy, where she continued to serve her community until her well-deserved retirement at the age of 78.
Louella's commitment to service extended beyond her professional life. She was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary, where she supported veterans and their families with the same compassion and dedication that she brought to every endeavor. She was an avid NASCAR fan, Louella's enthusiasm for the sport was contagious. She could often be found cheering on her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.
Along with her parents; Herman and Lily (Stewart) Starnes; she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Burrington, whom she married in 1949. She is also preceded in death by her siblings; Elvis Starnes, Melvin Starnes, Pauline Crawford, Willetta Taylor, Oleta Haddock, and Alene Vanderpool.
Louella is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, March 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary, officiated by Pastor Shane Munn. Burial to follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family invites friends for a time of visitation prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.
