Billie Leader

Billie Holcomb Leader, 85, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 9:42 pm, May 25, 2017 at her home Holcombs Century Farm in rural Seneca after a illness.

Billie Lucille Holcomb was born May 27, 1931 in rural Seneca the daughter of Virgil R. and
Georgie Lucille (Huchinson) Holcomb. Billie was a graduate of Seneca High School. She formerly worked as the City Clerk for Seneca and formerly co-owned and operated Herb's Wheel Horse. She was a member of the Seneca Christian Church. Billie loved canning, cooking, teaching Sunday School, flowers and her dog Lola. Billie never meet a stranger she always had a smile on her face and always said we are “always moving forward”.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband’s Leonard L. Leader and Herbert Griffith and her parents Virgil and Georgia Holcomb. 

Survivors include one son, Larry Leader, Seneca. MO; two daughters, Sue Mailes, Neosho, MO and Jeanie Leader, Broken Arrow, OK; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the New Salem Cemetery, Neosho with Roger Chester officiating. The body will lie in state at the Seneca Christian Church Monday, May 29, 2017 from 9:30 am to 5 pm. No organized visitation planed.
