Lois Ruth Foster, age 87, Webb City, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation.
Lois was born January 10, 1930 in Duenweg, Missouri to the late Earl Jordan and Viola Mae Jordan. She attended school in Oronogo and lived in several locations with her loving companion of 42 years Harvey Foxworth, before returning to Carl Junction in 2008. She worked in the hotel industry in housekeeping.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by companion, Harvey Foxworth on May 28, 2013; three brothers, Marvin Jordan, Carl Ray Jordan, Walt Jordan; two sisters, Virginia Pigg and Inez Scott; grandson, Michael Foster; granddaughter, Hailey Foster and a great-great-grandson, Knox Laurance.
Survivors include five sons, Mike Foster of La Vergne, TN, Steve Foster and wife, Diane of East Point, MI, Jim Foster and wife, Diane of Clinton Township, MI, Danny Foster and wife, Fran of New Baltimore, MI, and Larry Foster and wife, Sheila of Joplin; three daughters, Ruth Ann Laurance and husband, Howard of Carl Junction, Linda Miller and husband, Bruce of Clinton Township, MI and Shirley Murphy of Carl Junction; two brothers, Robert Jordan and wife, Brenda of Carthage, and Leroy Jordan and wife Kay, of Oronogo; three sisters, Helen Willis and Hazel Banks, both of Webb City, Wanda Williams of Carthage.
Funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary, with Rev. Johnny Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow at the Carterville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the local Alzheimer's Association in care of the mortuary.
