Carmen Jane Lankford, age 60, Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
Carmen was born April 21, 1957 in Joplin to Janet Black Lankford and the late H. Dean Lankford.
She worked at Zales Jewelers in Joplin and Wichita, Kansas for several years. Carmen then joined the staff at Chubb Insurance Agency in Tulsa and retired as manager of human resources.
Survivors include her mother, Janet Lankford, Joplin; brother, Tim Lankford, Joplin; two sisters, Cynthia Mingo, Joplin, Cristine Veith, Stotts City, Missouri; four nieces and one nephew.
Graveside services are planned for Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. Charles Stillman, minister will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
