Galen Lee Allen, age 68, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born on January 6, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri to Issac Allen and Nellie (Wingo) Allen. Galen was a retired shipping supervisor from Talbot Industries. Galen was truly one of a kind "Simply the Best".
He is survived by his daughters, Gwen Allen and Jason Keller, Jennifer Crane and husband Kevin, Alyssa Ansley and Bobby Wright all of Webb City; a brother, Cleo Allen of Webb City; Kathy Allen of Webb City; and his beloved grandchildren, Kyler, Bradyn, Kolesen, Katy, Ady, Maggie, Gabi, Carlee, Jace, and Jax.
His daughters will host a celebration of Galen's life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 5 PM at the Webb City Elks Lodge. He will be interred at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City.
