Janet Marsh

Mrs. Janet Kay Marsh, 54, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday morning, May 11, 2017, at her home after a sudden illness.

Janet entered this life on August 31, 1962, in Olathe, Kansas, born to the union of the late James Madison and Lila (Taylor) Hatfield. She was raised in Raytown, Missouri and was a 1980 graduate of Raytown South High School. On August 8, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Larry Marsh and together they have shared the last thirty-six years. They resided in the Kansas City area before moving to Anderson, Missouri in December of 1992. For eighteen years she was employed by the WalMart Home Office as an Administrative Assistant. Janet currently worked at Southwest Creations in Southwest City, Missouri. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, cooking and spending countless hours with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Dusty Hatfield; and a sister, Betsy Hatfield.

Janet is survived by her husband, Larry Marsh of the home; four children, Eric Marsh of Pineville, Missouri, Leah Marsh of Grove, Oklahoma, Sarah Moore and husband, Jairus, of Anderson and Dustin James Hatfield of Granby, Missouri; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Johnson of Stover, Missouri and Linda Cramer of Cole Camp, Missouri; a brother, Donnie Hatfield of Stover; her father and mother in-law, Donald and Freda Marsh of Jane, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marsh are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Eric Marsh, Dustin Hatfield, Frank Espinoza, Jairus Moore, Rick Sprinkle-Hatfield and Dave Sprinkle.
