Harold Moore

Harold M. 'Tootie' Moore, Jr., age 66, Seneca, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Freeman Hospital after an illness.

Harold was born July 28, 1950 in Joplin to the late Harold Martin Moore, Sr. and Elva Easley Moore and had lived in the area all of his life.

He started out working with Bobby G. Hinshaw at ABC Ambulance Company. He then started working in the dump truck industry and also worked as a bouncer at the Paint Stallion. Harold was an avid fisherman and loved to take long rides on his Harley. He never met a stranger, loved his family and will be missed by his six fur babies.

He married Christina Steers on April 22, 1984 in Carthage. She survives at the home.

Additional survivors include his children, Kendra Moore, Joplin, Rene Consier and husband, Rodney, Joplin, Justin Johnson, Joplin, Darla Southard and husband, Brian, Prosperity, Harold Moore III 'Marty' and wife, Amber, Seneca; one brother, Lee Roy Moore and wife, Sherrey, Joplin; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Hagemeier and a brother, Darral Moore.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
