Hermy Passley

Herman Eugene “Hermy” Passley Jr., age 57 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Thursday May 18, 2017 following an illness.

He was born September 23, 1959 in Webb City, Missouri to Herman and Jo Ann (Dart) Passley.

Hermy worked for Tamko Building Products for 25 years and then for the City of Webb City Missouri Public Works Department. He was a member of the Webb City High School class of 1977. While in school he was a member of the wrestling squad and the football team. He was a supporter of youth sports and very involved with the youth baseball and wrestling teams. He was member of the Webb City Elk’s Lodge #861 for over 30 years. Hermy was a sports memorabilia collector and a huge Kansas City Royals baseball fan.

He married Robin Sidenstricker on November 5, 1976.

Hermy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Robin; two sons, Travis Passley and wife Gretchen, Carterville, Missouri, Drew Passley and wife Lori, Brookfield, Missouri; parents Herman and Jo Ann Passley, Oronogo, Missouri; two brothers, Danny Passley and wife Lisa, Alba, Missouri, Kevin Passley, Joplin, Missouri; one sister, Melissa Poole and husband Rick, Round Rock Texas; four grandchildren, Garrett Pliler, Colton Passley, Kennedy Passley, Kylie Passley; brother and sister in-law Rusty and Katherine Sidenstricker, Webb City, Missouri, and his father in-law Rex Sidenstricker, Webb City, Missouri as well numerous other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral with Rev. Bob Dart officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Saturday prior to the service. The 11 o’clock toast will be conducted by the Webb City Elks Lodge #861 at the beginning of the service.

In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the Cerebral Palsy of Tri-County Development Center or the Webb City Elks Lodge Scholarship Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
