Eugene Chadwick, 80, passed away June 2, 2018 at his Neosho home.
He was born Oct. 10, 1937 in McCroy, AR to Rupert and Jewel (Fink) Chadwick. Eugene had lived in the Neosho area for many years and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
Eugene and Dorothy (Ball) Chadwick were married June 14, 1996; she preceded him in death on March 8, 2014. Surviving are five children: Cheryl Lawson and husband, Vern of Neosho, Joseph Chadwick of Farmington, MO, Diane Buck and husband, Mike of Neosho, Robert Chadwick of McAlister, OK, and John Johnson and wife, Tina of Neosho; two sisters: Chris Alexander of El Dorado Springs, MO and Janice Turner of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister and one granddaughter.
Graveside services, with full military honors, will be held 10:00 am, Sat. June 9, 2018 at Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City, MO with Rev. Berry Reel officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 pm on Friday, June 8 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
