Joseph T. Ky, 89, Carthage, MO, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 30, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO.
Joseph Ky was born March 6, 1929 in So Kien, Ha Nam, Vietnam to the late Binh Van Truong and Thu Thi Truong. He was a professor at St. Joseph College in Mountain View, CA. He then became a Catholic priest at the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer Church in Carthage.
Visitation and wake will be held 8:30-9:30 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the CMR Church, Carthage. Funeral mass will be held 10 am, Friday, January 4, 2018 at the CMR Church. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Carthage. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
