Curtis Young

Curtis N. Young, 88, Miami, OK, entered into eternal rest January 4, 2019 at his home.

He was born March 16th 1930 in Seneca, MO to Foster Albert “Euchie” and Mildred Beatrice (Lassiter) Young.

He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1948 and lived in Wyandotte, OK all his life.

Curtis was a lifelong farmer and rancher who served in the United States Army, Stationed in Germany from 1954 to 1956. He worked in Excavation most of his life. He retired as a rural letter carrier in 1995. Curtis owned and operated Young and Sons Excavation and Young Farms.

Curtis is survived by his wife of 69 years Betty June (Munson) Young of the home; four sons, Rodney Kim Young and wife Fonda, Seneca, MO, Kevin Neal Young and wife Bobbi, Ardmore, OK, Kyle Tod Young, Wyandotte and Kenny Ray Young and wife Mendy, Wyandotte, OK; 1 daughter, Kelly Lou Enyart and husband Don, Seneca, MO; one honorary son, Stan Hughes and wife Shelley, Miami, OK; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Floyd “Bud” Young.



Curtis was a member and attended Eastside Assembly of God for 69 years where he served as a Deacon for 64 years.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Eastside Assembly of God.

A Celebration of Life Services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 2:00 pm, January 8, 2019 at Eastside Assembly of God with Rev. Larkin Enlow officiating. The body has been taken for cremation.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Eastside Assembly of God Freedom Campaign, in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380 Seneca, MO 64865.
