Michael Steven Rosten, age 70, of Golden, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was born September 9, 1948 in Canby, Minnesota, the son of Aaron W. Lucas and Velma L. Arndt. On April 8, 2006 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Morlan, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Janice Gravener of Seneca, Missouri and Amy Davis of San Leon, Texas; one brother Randy Rosten of Palm Springs, California and four grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Brian Gravener, Johnathan Davis and Jacob Gravener.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Michael graduated high school in San Bernardino, California. On October 6, 1967 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, serving until June 24, 1971. While in the United States Marine Corp. he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. After his time in the military he traveled the United States, working as a building supervisor in the construction field. Three years ago he moved to Golden, Missouri.
