Bill Finley

William Arthur “Bill” Finley, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Thursday, May 21, 2020, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 74.

He was born on December 28, 1945 in Greenfield, MO to Samuel Arthur and Joy Adeline (Newland) Finley. Bill graduated from Lockwood High School. He retired as Assistant Supervisor for the Missouri Department of Transportation after a 30 year career. Bill also worked as a farmer and milk carrier. He was a member of the Washington Lodge #87 A.F. & A.M.










Survivors include his daughter, Melody Finley; one grandson, Zachary Daniel and his children, Kelsey Daniel and Brody Daniel, and his fiancé, Chelsi and her son, Tucker; one brother, Jim Finley and wife Connie; two sisters, Mary Crouch and husband Charley and Sammie Sue Slagle; nieces, Pam Marshall and husband Brian, Penny White and husband Kevin, and Pam Rice and Rut; nephews, Perry Finley and wife Joy, Frank Crouch and wife Susan, and Chuck Crouch; and host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Lockwood Cemetery. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please be mindful of maintaining a social distance, and the capacity and seating may be limited. Also, you are welcome to and, indeed, encouraged to wear face masks to protect yourselves and others. Memorial contributions may be made to Lockwood Cemetery.
