Delores Johnson

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Delores Ann Johnson, 87, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday May 7th. She joined her Heavenly Father and reunited with her soulmate, Grandpa Dale Johnson. Grandma spent her last moments the way she spent her entire life, surrounded by family and loved ones.

She worked two years for Merchants & Miners Bank before becoming a full time homemaker. Grandma was the quintessential caretaker. She raised, taught, guided and loved three generations of children. She was an avid reader, a brilliant seamstress and loved her crossword puzzles.

She enjoyed watching a variety of sports and in her younger years was an accomplished bowler. Grandma was the epitome of her generation, stoic and strong. She showed her affection through her unconditional love and supports, which we all continue to carry with us.

She leaves her daughter Glenda Clemons & husband Mike Clemons, daughter Terrie Streur & husband Joseph Streur, son Kevin Johnson, granddaughter Stacy Randolph and partner Michelle Ellis, grandson Chad Plummer and wife Tami, grandson Randy Randolph and wife Bari, grandson Kory Johnson and wife Britney, granddaughter Kelsey Lewis and husband Jay, great grandchildren Ashley, Chase, Sadie, Aaleah, Bailey, Payton, Emi, Lake and Breckyn; great-great grandson Mackson.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Long.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Visit www.simpsonfh.com for online condolences.
