David Lane Burdick-Enders, age 56 of Joplin, passed away at 12:18 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
David was born in Baxter Springs, KS on April 14, 1964 to parents Charles L. Enders and Arlene C. Rogers. He was born and raised in Baxter Springs, and spent most of his adult life in Joplin. He was a jack of all trades, working mainly in all areas of construction and remodeling. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a professional storyteller.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children; one brother, Raymond Burdick of Joplin; one sister Rosemlle Morang (husband, Rick) of Quapaw, OK; nieces and nephews, Ashley Burdick, Paul Burdick, and Austin Morang; one aunt, Carla Dugan; and one uncle, Mark Rogers.
Mr. Burdick was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena. The family will hold a private burial ceremony at Lowell Cemetery, rural Baxter Springs with details to be announced at a later date.
