Kevin Sherman

Mr. Kevin Don Sherman, 58, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, in the comfort of his home from complications of Multiple System Atrophy.

Kevin entered this life on July 17, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas, born to the union of Harold Wayne and Lavilla (Eberly) Sherman. He was raised in Noel, Missouri and was a 1979 graduate of McDonald County High School.

On July 17, 1982, he was united in marriage to Crystal Dawn Thomas and together they have shared the last thirty-seven years. For the last twenty years Kevin worked as a truck driver, most recently for QLF Trucking. Prior to his trucking career, he worked as a poultry farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He attended the First Baptist Church in Lanagan.








Kevin is survived by his wife, Crystal Sherman of the home; his four children, Caroline Shepherd and husband, Verl, of Neosho, Kevin Sherman and wife, Cara, of Anderson, Matthew Sherman and wife, Casey, of Denver, Colorado and Michaella Thacker and husband, Jason, of Neosho; eight grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, Payton, Marley, Kylan, Remi, Andrew and Max; his parents, Wayne and Lavilla Sherman of Noel; a sister, Kimberly Manley and husband, Travis, of Noel; four brothers, Wayne Sherman and wife, Viola, of Noel, Mark Sherman and wife, Terri, of Noel, Michael Sherman of Anderson and Bryon Sherman and wife, Sharon, of Noel; his mother-in-law, Jeanie Stidham and husband, Ray, of Neosho; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Ruth Eberley.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Travis Manley and Earl Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Kevin, Matthew, Wayne, Wayne II, Bryon, Michael and Mark Sherman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the MSA Foundation c/o of the funeral home.
