Tammy Ragland

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Tamara Jane ‘Tammy’ Ragland was born December 12, 1966 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Berry H., Jr. and Eloise (Inman) Ragland. She entered into rest on May 15, 2020 at her home following a long illness with her mother and sister at her side.

Tammy attended South School, Central School and Neosho Jr. High in the Neosho School District. Her latest educational achievement was a correspondence course in Entrepreneurship in which she received her degree with highest honors.

Tammy was a proud owner in the family business and enjoyed working in what she referred to as ‘our family cattle feed business.' Advertising was her focus and she loved finding the ads she had helped with in print. Tammy loved traveling and enjoyed family vacations of all sorts. She particularly loved spending time with her extended family.

Her hobbies included writing stories and TV scripts, corresponding with numerous celebrities and adding to her huge collection of personal notes, autographs and photographs from performers of all kinds, collecting Barbies and improving on them with fashion innovations, working on her Mac desktop, reading, collecting and watching movies and television comedies. She loved music. Tammy will be sorely missed by her family. We will miss her sense of humor, her soft voice, her sweet smile and her enthusiastic and reassuring hugs.

Tammy is survived by two sisters, Deborah June Ragland, Neosho, MO and Theresa Miele, Indianapolis, IN; one brother, John W. Ragland, Eudora, KS; niece, Sarah Luther, Fayetteville, AR; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends; best friend and companion, Diane Stockam, whom she included as family.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Neosho IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, MO with Pastor William Lee officiating.

Friends may pay respects to Tammy at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, May 18 from 12:00-5:00 pm and on Tuesday, May 19 after 9:00 am.
